I took this photo one beautiful may day during my visit to Subotica and Palic lake, which is located in the north of the Serbian province Vojvodina. That spring day was beautiful until suddenly storm clouds began to gather over the lake but There was still a little sunlight under the clouds. I was walking along the promenade by the lake when I arrived at this place. I liked this scene so I took a shot and moved on.

This is a view of Palic lake under the dramatic cloudy sky from a small peninsula called "Cape of Poetic Hope". In the distance, you can see the other lake shore and the part of the Palic nature park and on the left, surrounded by grass and flowers there is the sculpture "Wings". which is actually located in the central part of this small peninsula. On the lake, not so far from the shore, there is a small boat illuminated with the last sun rays that day.
This sculpture is a work of the first academic sculptor from Subotica, Ana Beslic, whose works adorn Palic and Subotica. In 1957. it was moved from the site of the Memorial Fountain in 1981. to its current position.
The sculpture "Wings" is certainly one of the sights of Palic lake and you just can't miss it if you walk by the lake shore.
Palic lake with its contents and sights is one of the main touristic attractions in this region and you should surely visit it if you ever come to Serbia.
