This photo was taken during my visit to Subotica and Palic lake, which is located in the north of the Serbian province Vojvodina. It was one late afternoon in spring. That may day was beautiful, until suddenly storm clouds began to gather over the lake but There was still a little sunlight under the clouds. I was walking along the promenade by the lake when I arrived at this place. I immediately liked what I saw and of course, I took the opportunity to take a shot.

This is a view of Palic lake under a cloudy sky from a small peninsula called "Cape of Poetic Hope". In the distance, you can see the other lake shore and the part of the Palic nature park with its contents. In the central part, surrounded by grass and flowers there is the sculpture "Wings". which is a work of the first academic sculptor from Subotica, Ana Beslic, whose works adorn Palic and Subotica. This sculpture from 1957. was moved from the site of the Memorial Fountain in 1981. to its current position.
