King Peter I Karadjordjević 1844-1921 aka "the king liberator" was King of Serbia from 1903 to 1918, and King of Yugoslavia - the Kingdom of Serbs Croats and Slovenes from 1918 to 1921. Since he was the king of Serbia during a period of great Serbian military success, he was remembered by Serbian people as King Peter the Liberator, and also known as Old King. Died 16 August 1921 (aged 77) in Belgrade, Serbia.
