Artist's Description
While I was walking through the Sumadija fields in Serbia one sunny June day, I noticed this small abandoned hut standing in front of one tree right on the edge of a field of mown hay. In the distance, behind it, a green forest can be seen in front of which is the river bank but that small river is not visible from this distance. Everything was so nice and green except the yellow mown hay and the beautiful blue sky of course. It was a very hot summer day although it was late afternoon and that June day was already approaching to its end. The sun was beginning to slowly descend on the horizon and spread its beautiful warm tones across the sky.
